Chaos hits the climate talks in Copenhagen after leaked documents reveal plans to sideline the interests of developing nations. Copenhagen, Denmark. 08/12/2009.

Mithika addresses the press on the Dannish text
Representatives from developing countries were outraged to discover that world leaders will expected to sign an agreement that empowers richer countries and marginalises the UN in future climate change negotiations.
African delegates from PACJA (Pan African Climate Justice Alliance) swamped the main hall of the COP15 conference shouting “Two degrees to suicide” and “We will survive”. They were immediately pounced upon by representatives of the press, including reporters from CNN and Reuters, and the conference area was completely disrupted by the ensuing chaos.
M. Augustine Nyamasi and M. Mithika from PACJA were leading the group.
